Merry Christmas From Îles Des Saintes!

Happy holidays to all our closest friends and family! We hope you all are spending today with your loved ones feeling the holiday cheer.

Since we are far from family and not experiencing the cold & snow we both grew up with, Christmas feels a little different again this year. We decided to embrace it by creating our own traditions. We spent Christmas Eve baking cookies, listening to Christmas music, and the evening playing Farkle, sipping hot cocoa with homemade marshmallows while watching Christmas movies. This morning we mixed up some bloody marys & eggs benedict before attempting some holiday photos. We had some good laughs with the outtakes!

We arrived here in Îles des Saintes, Guadeloupe just under a week ago. They are a small group of islands that sit just south of the main island. So far, they are quite cute and it's fun to be back in a French territory. And since we're in a French territory, duck confit is on the menu for today!
